A New Theme For A New Direction
Welcome!
My dearest friends, I have decided that a great deal needed to be done to my poor blog, and that I had no purpose in creating it other than simply to say that I had one. Thus, it was time for reform. And in the spirit of reform, I chose a topic, which many would agree, could USE the most reform.
America. The Land of the Free and Home of the Brave. Or so it used to be called. Brothers and sisters, I'm still proud to call myself an American, but only because I believe in the ideals upon which it was founded, and I live by those ideals.
To put things quite bluntly, this Country is running out of our control. When I say "our," I refer to you and me. The general tax-paying public. And yet, we find ourselves paying the salaries and pensions of those who are running amok, writing legislation that most citizens don't KNOW about, much less AGREE WITH.
My efforts here will be to notify you of a little bit of what's going on, and what YOU can do about it. Post your solutions as comments for others to see, and let's figure out at least a little bit of what can be done. Thank you, and have a wonderful day!
